All That's Needed is a Heart

 

You need not be of wealth or fame,

Nor excel in works of art

To improve the world around you -

All that's needed is a heart.

 

You need not be a wise man

To know how you can mend

Another's broken spirit,

As a helping hand you lend.

 

You need not be a fiddler

To keep one's heart in tune

With a happy melody,

Though dreams may lie in ruin.

 

And a lesson in futility

You'll need never know,

As you trust God as your Mentor

And to your life's calling go.
