Thank You

 

 Thank You, dear Father,

For so many things -

For babies and sunlight

And butterfly wings,

For snowflakes and seashells,

For hummingbirds, too,

Hot cups of coffee

And skies, clear and blue,

For laughter and giggles,

For kisses, so sweet,

Choirs of children,

Warm food to eat,

For family and loved ones,

The hug of a friend...

Dear Father, this list

Could run without end.

Your blessings are many,

I've barely begun,

But, dear Father, God,

Thank You most for Your Son,

That He came and He lived

From His throne high above

To tell of Your caring,

Your patience, Your love.
