Finding the Silver Lining



Our Lord of mercy? Yes, He is!
And more, a God of grace;
For there we find that extra goodness,
Wherein are blessings laced.

We get forgiveness at His cross;
Mercy then wraps us 'round -
But His love still yearns to give,
And there His grace is found!

To know the depths of His dear love
Eludes the human mind,
For all our trials are mixed with grace
And in the end we find...

That even trials show forth His grace,
God-givens or our refining,
For after they have worked our good -
We find their silver lining!
