Thank the Lord

 

 Thank the Lord for little favors

That He does for you each day

That are gifts of grace and blessings

To endear your life and way;

He is ever, always, mindful

Of our recklessness and greed,

And the weakness of our spirit

And His need to intercede.

 

Thank Him, and be always grateful

At the end of every day

For the love and care He showed you

At your labors and your play,

And be ever, ever grateful

For His love, so proven true,

That awakens you each morning

And abides in all you do.
