Inside of me there is a flame
That's glowing constantly
Lit for me by my Jesus
Who came to live in me.
It started with a spark of faith
That grew and grew each day
With hope for its companion
And love to give away.
For we who live on earth below
Must learn to look above
To Jesus who looks down on us
With everlasting love.
So if you yearn to follow Him
He'll light that flame for you,
Surround you with a special glow
And send you blessings, too!
