Behold

One night I dreamed that He appeared

In wondrous majesty,

He gazed at me with tender love,

And this He spoke to me:

"Behold," He said with gentle smile,

His arms outstretched above,

"If you abide My spoken word,

I'll bring you peace and love;

If you believe the truths I speak

And glorify just Me,

And live the life I ask of you,

Then blessed will you be,

For all who share My light and faith

With those who have a need

Will one day find eternity -

And joy for each good deed;

It matters not your place in life

If you but share my love,

I'll welcome you with open arms

At Heaven's gate above."
