Close out the world
And come to Me,
Distractions leave behind;
I am your life, your soul's sweet breath,
The healer of your mind.
Begin to know the meaning of
A secret place with Me;
I wait within your heart to hear
You praise Me joyfully.
I dwell within your inner court
And wait to speak with you,
To give direction to your life,
To guide in all you do.
Could you but understand, My child,
That though your heart seeks Me,
You are distracted by world's cares,
Breaking affinity...
To block communication, the messages I speak,
Please ponder this, for quiet time
Holds answers that you seek.
Draw not your own conclusions;
Put confidence in Me
Grow daily in obedience
To reach maturity.
