I marvel at the wardrobe
the fresh Spring flowers wear
that serve as bright expressions
of our God's abiding care.
The source behind their garments,
so prim and proudly worn,
is their unfailing confidence
He'll see them thus adorned.
If He so clothes the flowers
in such rich becoming hue,
be sure He'll do the same for us,
if we allow Him to.
But first we must be trustful
His design for us is best;
take root in that assurance;
and let Him do the rest.
And if we blend our Will with His,
the way the flowers do,
we'll find our countenance and soul
both glowingly renewed.

Consider the lilies
how they grow...
Solomon in all his glory
was not arrayed like
one of these.
