Let the light of God shine through
as you go about your days.
In all the little things you do,
try to do them in God's way.
You'll never know the happiness
that a friendly smile can bring
to someone who's been feeling down -
left out of everything.
The hurting heart will suddenly
flip flop, and beat anew -
restoring hope and contentment
all because of you!
A few flowers from your garden,
some cookies, or some bread,
will show you care, and ease the pain
of someone's aching head.
It's giving of yourself that counts
in all things great and small -
to do His bidding, our very best,
each time we hear Him call.
Our privilege is to serve our Lord,
and spread His light on earth.
While we are stewards of His world,
He judges our true worth.
