Good morning Lord, I'm ready
To start a brand new day.
Keep me calm in spite of all
I'm bound to face today.
Seal my lips 'lest I should put
My foot into my mouth,
Give me the strength to do my job,
Though in the North or South.
Good Morning, Lord, I'm back again,
I've had a good night's sleep,
Perhaps things might run smoother,
If You will help me keep
My temper and my senses,
Until the day is through.
Help me forget my troubles,
And concentrate on You.
