God's Grace

 

Whenever I'm discouraged or

Whenever I feel blue,

When life's blows seem too hard to take,

I turn, dear Lord, to You.

I know that You will understand

My human frailty,

That You will listen to my prayer

And always answer me.

And though the answer may not be

The one I want to hear,

I know that if my faith is strong,

I have no need to fear

Whatever Your plan is for me,

For You will help me face

The future, come what may, secure

And strengthened in Your grace.
