So many friends and loved ones
Bless our lives each day
In just the little thoughtful things
They often do and say.
A neighbor comes to visit
And brings a word of cheer
It's like a ray of sunshine
Your day had been so drear!
The friend who telephones to ask
How you are getting on,
The thoughtfulness that warms your heart
And lingers all day long.
That special one who came to help
When you were feeling ill,
Her deep concern was comforting,
You think about it still.
So many friends and loved ones
Who help our hearts to smile
In just these little thoughtful ways
That make this life worthwhile.
