I need His grace to take my thoughts
From worldly things I love
And set my heart on lasting gifts -
The treasures from above.
The precious peace and love and joy
That only He can give
I need to value more each day,
The longer that I live.
Through every day I need His help -
Temptations wait for me -
If I am going to become
The one I ought to be.
