Miracle

The Springtime has come,

The Winter is past,

The grip of the cold,

has loosened at last.

Buried deep down,

in the heart of the earth,

The essence of life,

miracle of birth.

The life giving sap,

hears Spring's urgent call,

Faint murm'ring sound

in the trees gaunt and tall.

swift waters course,

Their strength, increased by

the snow at their source.
