He Cares for You

When the way seems hard you are called to tread,

When the dark'ning clouds gather overhead,

When despair and grief all about you spread,

Remember: He cares for you.

When your friends cannot help

When you need them most,

When temptations rise as a mighty host,

When you face defeat and the fight seems lost,

Remember: He cares for you.

Then look up to Him, Who the way can show,

He will guide through joy; He will guide through woe;

For his promise holds and it shall be so.
