Love is a golden thread
That links us one and all.
We heard it in our mother's voice
Whenever she would call.
We felt it in our father's touch.
His strength made us secure.
We feel it still in daily life;
It helps us to endure.
This never-ending golden thread
Is love personified.
It banishes all doubt and fear
When we are by God's side.
For it is His love we're feeling -
His love for you and me,
All woven in and through our lives;
A golden tapestry!
