Priorities

 

Is it really important to plan your day

Down to the tiniest minute?

Or is it important to give God all day,

Then be conscious of His purpose in it?

 

For the finest plans of mice and men

Do go astray, so they said.

Activities that seem so important today,

Won't matter at all, when you're dead.

 

So, meet God at the start of the morning,

Spend time with Him during the day,

Take time to be kind and gentle,

And always, always, pray.
