God is Always There

At times you reach the bottom
Of sorrow and despair,
And know not where to turn for aid
To help your burdens bear.

There's always One who's standing by
At any hour of day,
To be your closest friends and guide
And help your fears allay.

One who will comfort and sustain
And always understand,
And give you faith and inner strength
And lend a helping hand.

Look forward to each new born day
With courage born anew.
And bear in mind God's always there
To help you see it through.
