Help us, Lord, to keep the faith
when things are going wrong...
Teach us to turn the other cheek
and move by faith along.
Just being good is not enough
while trying hard to cope.
We must put our faith to work
with charity and hope.
We need not fear the great unknown
when God is on our side,
And there is nothing we can't do
when faith in Him's applied!
There is no power on this earth
that's worthy of our fear,
For Christ shall send a Comforter
to believers far and near.
Help us, Lord, to keep the faith
and never turn away...
Show us, Lord, Thy majesty;
abide with us today.
