God's Majesty

Ah, Lord, how great Your majesty
In crimson leaves upon a tree -
More beauty than a heart can hold
On Autumn mornings, misted gold!

Ah, Lord, how great Your splendor, too,
In Summer roses kissed with dew!
Were I a queen upon a throne,
No greater treasure could I own.

Ah, Lord, how glorious Your morn
When Spring is suddenly reborn,
As purple crocus beckon me
Behold a world bejeweled by Thee.

And, Lord, how very kind art Thou
To mound soft snowflakes on the bough
So Winter's harshness we can bear
With ermine's magic everywhere.

In Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring,
There's beauty in the smallest thing,

Reflecting Your great majesty,
Unfolding till eternity.
