Humble Missions

For each of us, there is a reason

 Why we live upon this earth -

Why the Lord has chose to bless us

With the sanctity of birth;

There's a purpose for our being

And a mission to fulfill

But we cannot know its nature

Or the Lord's Eternal will.

It is, seldom, deeds of greatness -

That He plans to have us do -

And we will not profit riches,

But for blessings that ensue;

They are simply humble missions

That will never bring us fame

But will justify our being

And do honor to His name.
