Thankfulness

A cup of tea,
A crust of bread,
A sheltering roof
Over my head.
A bright, warm room
And four strong walls,
A place to stay
When snowflakes fall.
A cracking fire,
Good books to read,
A dog to pet,
And birds to feed.
Wit God's sweet love
And Word divine,
I've all I need
To fill my time.
O bless this humble home,
Dear Lord,
And keep me faithful in
Your Word.
Let me rest in peaceful grace
Until I meet You face to face.
