How many times I give you my cares,
Surrender my life and my all.
How many times do I give you my day
And in one weak moment I fall.
How many times do I kneel and confess
Telling you how I repent.
And before the day has come to a close
I have the same fears and laments.
How many times have I opened my heart
And invited my Lord to come in,
Humbly kneeling at the foot of the Cross
And again be tempted to sin.
