Eagles' Wings

Today my heart wore eagles' wing

And I soared above the clouds;

High above these earthly shrouds

I sang the song of kings.

I found my gold in snow-crowned peaks

And glistening valleys below,

Finding thereby all I seek

And ever need I know.

For after seeing starlight cry,

For after being kissed by rain,

For having soared beyond the sky,

I cannot be the same.

Today my heart wore eagles' wings,

Dare ask me have I changed!
